It is no longer news that the Lagos West Senatorial Election during the March 28th general elections was the fiercest ever in the history of Lagos State as the said election was extended to the second day.
The contestants were Hon. Olamilekan Solomon Adeola for the All Progressives Congress, APC and Otunba Segun Adewale for the People's Democratic Party, PDP.

The battle has now shifted to the Lagos State Elections Petitions Tribunal as the PDP candidate Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as AEROLAND has filed in his petition at the tribunal. He is rumored to have won his APC opponent Hon. Olamilekan Solomon Adeola silly.
Our insider source who prefers to remain anonymous can authoritatively reveal that all is not well with the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate generally referred to as YAYI as he has been running halter skeeter in a frantic attempt to make sure the elections petitions tribunal does not upturn the election results declared in his favour by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as mounting evidences to prove the massive rigging carried out by his camp during the elections are being churned out by his PDP opponent in the said election – Otunba Segun Adewale.
The source stated that Solomon Olamilekan is jittery because the fraud that was perpetuated could not be perfected during the elections as many flaws are beginning to surface as the tribunal case thickens. It will be recalled that INEC declared Hon. Solomon winner of the election having polled 429,765 votes while his opponent Segun Adewale polled 372,421 votes but the latter has rejected the outcome of the elections on so many grounds.
To complicate issues for the YAYI camp, our source revealed that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who was visibly angry with Hon. Solomon Olamilekan during the elections for not marching up with AEROLAND has again lambasted YAYI for failing to perfect the rigging which is causing the leaders of APC sleepless nights. He also reportedly told him to settle himself at the tribunals, although party leaders have been begging on his behalf. Dr Muiz Banire promised to help him settle the case at the tribunal no matter what it takes and has vowed to deploy strategies which include enacting scrupulous technicalities and even outright settlement of the judges as the last resort to ensure his INEC declared victory is upheld.
The Lagos State chapter of the APC is also under severe pressure as it was rumored that the party failed to submit the list of all their candidates in line with the Electoral Act, 2010 as amended which is one of the grounds Otunba Segun Adewale is using against them at the tribunals.
A group known as the Change Ambassadors of Nigeria (C.A.N) has also called for the resignation of the state Chairman of the Party - Chief Henry Ajomale for failing to perfect their win as usual in Lagos State especially in Oshodi 1 Constituency where his son contested and lost a seat to the Lagos State House of Assembly. Top party leaders have vowed to unseat him describing the lose as a shame on the party.
Change Ambassadors leaders opined that Mr. Henry Ajomale resignation is non-negotiable as it will be the first test to show the public that their party that preaches change is living up to its slogan. The publicity secretary of the group said "We have asked him to resign and he must go. His son's failure is a disgrace to us after all Lai Mohammed and Asiwaju delivered their son and nehpew respectively".
